Small alignment differences near a box can otherwise force installers to rework the conduit route or create an additional field offset. This connector builds the lateral shift into the fitting so the EMT can meet a displaced knockout more cleanly.

The set-screw version is the practical choice when direct fastening and visible screw access are preferred. Choose the compression version when a circumferential grip and a smoother exterior profile are more important.
