01 ORDERING & QUOTES
How do I request a quote?

Select the products and sizes you need and submit your inquiry basket. Include the quantity, destination market, and any packaging or marking requirements for an accurate quotation. Our team will reply to you within 8 hours.

Can I start with a smaller order?

We understand that not every business is ready to begin with a large order. As a manufacturer, we will work with you to find a practical starting quantity based on the product, size, and packaging. Please note that Velkor is a B2B supplier and does not sell individual units at retail.

Can I order samples before committing?

Yes. Samples are available for product and specification evaluation and are provided free of charge. Shipping can be arranged using your courier account, or the freight cost can be confirmed with you before dispatch.

What payment terms do you offer?

Standard terms are typically 30% deposit and 70% balance before shipment. Alternative terms may be considered based on order size and established cooperation.

What standards is Velkor EMT made to?

Velkor offers conduit systems for different markets, including products manufactured to applicable ANSI and UL requirements, as well as models manufactured to IEC 61386 requirements. Certification and specifications vary by product line.

Can I place a mixed-product order?

Often, yes. Conduit, fittings, boxes, and related products can be combined in one shipment. Send us your product list and we will help arrange a practical loading plan.

02 PRODUCTS & STANDARDS
What’s the difference between EMT, IMC and rigid conduit?

EMT is lightweight and normally joined with set-screw or compression fittings. IMC and rigid conduit are threaded, with rigid conduit having the heaviest wall. The best choice depends on the installation environment, required protection and local code.

Are your products certified to UL and CSA standards?

Not every product carries the same certification, and we prefer to be clear about that. Selected EMT and IMC models are ETL Listed to applicable UL and CSA standards, while certification coverage for additional product families is being expanded.

Why are some Velkor products ETL Listed rather than UL Listed?

UL and Intertek ETL are both OSHA-recognized Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratories. Selected Velkor products are ETL Listed and evaluated to applicable UL and CSA standards. For each certified order, we confirm the exact product, model, brand and authorized manufacturing location covered by the listing. If a project specifically requires the UL Mark, please let us know before quotation so we can confirm an appropriate supply option.

How do you confirm that a certification applies to my order?

A certificate alone is not enough. We verify the listing status, covered model, approved brand, and authorized manufacturing location before confirming a certified order. We only describe a product as Listed when the product supplied falls within that certification scope.

Which standards is Velkor EMT manufactured to?

Velkor offers EMT for different markets. Our U.S.-standard EMT is manufactured to ANSI C80.3, with selected models ETL Listed to UL 797 and CSA C22.2 No. 83.1. IEC-market models are available to meet applicable IEC 61386-1 / -21 requirements.

What are the standard conduit lengths for EMT?

UL 797 EMT conduit is normally supplied in 10-foot lengths, approximately 3.05 metres. Our 5-Star, Z275 and 3-Star Economy EMT conduit lines are normally supplied in 3-metre lengths. Other lengths may be available upon request.

Do you offer both set-screw and compression fittings?

Yes. We offer set-screw and compression connectors and couplings in a range of sizes and materials. Availability depends on the product family and the standard required for your market.

Can you manufacture custom sizes?

Conduit dimensions normally need to follow the applicable standard, so non-standard sizes are not always advisable. However, we can often customize length, coating, marking, labeling, and packaging, subject to production feasibility and certification requirements.

Can you provide private-label or OEM products?

Yes. We support OEM and private-label programs, including product marking, labels, and packaging.

What finishes are available?

Available finishes vary by product and may include pre-galvanized, hot-dip galvanized, electro-galvanized, and zinc-plated, Electro-galvanized, Powder coating and so on. Tell us where the product will be used, and we will help you choose a suitable finish.

Where can I find technical datasheets and certificates?

Technical datasheets and public compliance documents are available in our Downloads section and on applicable product pages. If you cannot find a specific document, contact us and we will check the exact product and certification scope for you.

03 SHIPPING & LEAD TIMES
Can I receive inspection records before shipment?

Yes. Applicable inspection results, product photos and shipping documents can be shared before dispatch. Any special inspection or documentation requirements should be agreed when the order is confirmed.

How will I track my order?

After confirmation, a dedicated Order Coordinator works alongside your sales contact to follow production, inspection and shipment. Key updates and documents are organized through the Velkor Tracking System, so you do not need to repeatedly ask where your order stands.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We supply international B2B customers and can quote common terms such as EXW, FOB or CIF, depending on the destination and your preferred shipping arrangement.

How is conduit packaged and bundled?

Conduit is first grouped into inner bundles, protected with plastic film and secured with steel wire over the film to hold the tubes firmly without damaging the zinc coating. The inner bundles are then combined into a master bundle, wrapped in blue protective tarpaulin and secured with steel straps to prevent loosening or shifting during transit. Individual inner bundles can also be wrapped in blue tarpaulin upon request at an additional cost.

What are your typical lead times?

Typical lead times are 4 weeks, but lead times depend on the product, quantity, packaging, and current production schedule. We will always confirm a realistic delivery schedule with every quotation rather than promising a date before checking with the production team. Please note that, close to Chinese holidays, the lead time will be longer than usual.
