This uncoated square-lock conduit forms a flexible metal pathway around changes in route. Its diameter table differs from the Greenfield series, so connector fit should be checked against the square-lock size data rather than assumed from a shared nominal size.

The square-lock steel flexible conduit is also known as British standard flexible conduit. Many people call it light-duty steel flexible conduit. Unlike the greenfield steel flexible conduit, which is heavy-duty and it provides stronger protection to the wire.
