A NON-METALLIC FLEXIBLE RACEWAY

This range uses a non-metallic conduit construction for flexible equipment connections. It is a separate choice from jacketed flexible metal conduit: select the termination for the actual non-metallic conduit construction, rather than assuming a metallic-conduit connector will fit.

The main distinction from PVC-coated flexible metal conduit is the conduit construction: a coated metallic conduit retains a metal core, while this range is non-metallic. Greenfield conduit is also a metallic option, but without an outer jacket. Select the conduit family before the termination, because a connector intended for metal conduit is not automatically suitable for a non-metallic conduit of the same nominal size.
