This connector screws into a compatible FMC end and terminates the conduit at an enclosure. The compression-to-screw-in EMT-to-flex connector has a different destination: it joins flexible conduit to an EMT run. A liquid-tight straight connector is another distinct termination family, so the straight body shape and nominal size alone do not make it a substitute for this screw-in fitting.
